Kristine Cayne's Cookie [Recipe] Exchange: Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Today is the second day of the Kristine Cayne Cookie (Recipe) Exhange and I have a great recipe to share with all of you.  It's especially interesting because it has no flour so those of you who have an allergy to flour will be able to enjoy this one along with everyone else.

This recipe looks so tasty and simple that your young children could make them with you.  As my family can attest, I cook like a young child so this recipe is perfect for me!

Okay here's the recipe brought to you by fellow author Danielle Peck (http://www.daniellemariepeck.com/).  Thank you Danielle!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

Mix together egg, sugar and peanut butter.  Roll into balls whatever size you want.

Place on an ungreased, parchment lined cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork.

Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.

Cookies are done when they are light brown and a little shiny in the middle.

Let cool.

Don't forget to send me your recipes and pictures of your decorated house (exterior) and Christmas trees.  Since I don't have any actual pictures of Christmas trees today, please enjoy the one below of a small child putting up big ornaments (sheesh)!

And to put you all in the Christmas tree decorating mood, here for your enjoyment is Andrea Bocelli singing
O Tannenbaum

Happy writing,
Kristine
